This year's Irrigation Australia Conference is being held in Melbourne over three days in May. "This year's theme of 'Sharing the water, sharing the benefits' is reflected in a program full of innovative technologies and solutions that will allow improved water management and improved productive capacity." said the chairman of Irrigation Australia Limited, Stephen Mills. "With speakers including the new minister for climate change and water; the Hon. Penny Wong, the conference is promising to be informative in providing solutions for water management issues."
Zerowaste Australia is holding a workshop during the conference titled; Improved Soil Management and Irrigation. The workshop aims to highlight limited the soil and water dynamic as a key issue in sustainable irrigated production. Zerowaste invites you to "come along and see what you or your customers can do to improve soils, yields and water use efficiency."
