Idling wastes about 4 percent of a car's gasoline, experts say. So eliminating idling would cut a car's greenhouse gas emissions - carbon dioxide and other byproducts scientists believe cause climate change - by the same amount.
Zero Waste Australia and Irrigation Australia Limited invite you to participate in this important workshop which will engage you in a conversation on the relationships between soil quality, soil carbon and water efficiency.
The rising cost of agricultural inputs combined with market pressures will mean that all sectors in the marketplace will have to ‘join the dots' and recognise the benefits of environmental relationships. The potential of carbon trade will be only one of the dominant forces in this new marketplace.
This workshop will cover:

WeEarth documented the positive attitude of the attendees and the responsibility that everyone shared while at this event.
Accountants play an important role in fighting greenhouse gas emissions, a leading body representing the profession says.
Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) president Alex Malley said that he believed big businesses needed to address the size of their carbon footprint.
He said he foresaw business being forced to reveal an environmental report to the public, much like a financial review.
